1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Honestly, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Honestly," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our analytics dashboard, our websites, and related services (the "Service"). We operate the Service in the United States. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. The Insights Come From Public Content

The analytics, scores, and insights in the Service are derived from publicly available social media and online content. To use the Service, you do not need to give us private personal information about you or your customers, and we do not ask for it. We are not collecting your customers' personal data.

The public content we analyze may include public usernames, public posts and comments, and similar information that people have shared publicly, and we collect it only from public sources. If you are an individual whose publicly available content has been included and you would like it removed, email us at lets@usehonestly.com and we will review your request.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information such as your name, email address, and login credentials.
• Demo request information such as your work email, name, company, phone number, website, job function, country, the topics you want to understand, and your consent to be contacted about the request.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. We keep basic records such as your plan and billing status.
• Content you provide to use the Service, such as product catalogs and queries.
• Communications you send us, such as support messages.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect standard technical and usage data, such as log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken. When we email you about a demo request, we may also record delivery, opens, link clicks, replies, bounces, complaints, and unsubscribe requests. We use this information to manage the conversation, prevent unwanted follow-up, and understand whether our communications are useful.

Information from other sources

The Service collects and analyzes publicly available social media and online content. This content is created by third parties and obtained from public sources.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and measure usage. Demo follow-up emails may contain a small tracking pixel and tagged links that tell us whether an email was opened or a link was selected. Email-open data is approximate because some email providers block or preload images. You can block remote images in your email client and opt out of follow-up using the unsubscribe link in any commercial email.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Authenticate users and secure accounts;
• Provide customer support;
• Respond to demo requests, tailor follow-up, and manage our relationship with prospective customers;
• Record email delivery and engagement so we can stop unwanted or unsuccessful follow-up;

• Communicate with you, including service-related messages and, where permitted, updates;
• Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Legal and safety reasons, such as to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Honestly, our users, or others.

We may also create and use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for any business purpose.

7. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Service may link to or analyze third-party websites and content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.

8. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as maintaining records, complying with tax and accounting obligations, and resolving disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

9. Your Choices

• Access and update. You can access and update your account information by logging in or by emailing us.
• Deleting your account. You can ask us to delete your personal account information at any time by emailing lets@usehonestly.com. We will delete it within a reasonable period, except for information we are required or permitted to keep, such as records needed for billing, tax, accounting, legal, or security purposes.
• Marketing. You can opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link. We may still send you service-related messages.
• Cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and we do not currently respond to them.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
